Glenn and Uiagalelei were listed as co-starters on Florida State's depth chart this week after Uiagalelei exited in the fourth quarter of a 42-16 loss to the Mustangs, which dropped the Seminoles to 1-4. Norvell later revealed that Uiagalelei suffered a finger injury in the loss.

FSU is fourth-to-last nationally in rushing (2.36 yards per attempt). That’s less than half of Florida State’s average over Norvell’s previous four seasons (4.98) and almost two full yards worse than any team Norvell has fielded as a head coach.

Brock Glenn is on the verge of his third career start, and his first this season. The sophomore quarterback is replacing two-time transfer DJ Uiagalelei, who Florida State head coach Mike Norvell said will likely be out “the next couple of weeks” after Uiagalelei suffered a finger injury in the fourth quarter of a Week 5 loss to SMU.
