Uber is holding its annual Go-Get conference in London today. As part of the event, the company is rolling out a number of changes to its ridehailing and delivery business to reflect the fact that more drivers and couriers are using electric vehicles.

Uber held its second Go-Get Zero event on Tuesday to highlight some of the company's sustainability efforts. First and foremost, it says that there are now enough EV drivers using the service to make an EV-only option available (the current Uber Green includes hybrids).

Uber announced new features aimed at making it easier for riders to choose EVs in the ride-sharing app, as well as a new AI assistant to help drivers evaluate switching to an EV.

China imposed temporary anti-dumping measures on imports of brandy from the EU on Tuesday, hitting French brands including Hennessy and Remy Martin, days after the 27-state bloc voted for tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles (EVs).

The European Union’s decision to impose tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles has moved the focus to how and when Beijing will retaliate for the escalation in its biggest trade dispute with the bloc in years.

The move came days after the European Union pressed ahead in adopting definitive tariffs of up to 45% on China-made battery electric vehicles last Friday.
