For now, Hyundai and Toyota are hosting an event with their greatest sports cars and concepts in one place, but is this the start of something bigger?

Hyundai Motor will host a motorsport racing event in Korea later this month with Toyota Motor, signaling the start of a partnership between the two of the world's three biggest automakers.

Everland Speedway was the first permanent motor racing circuit in Korea. It features 17 turns over 2.7 miles total. It hosts several notable events each year including the Lamborghini Trofeo Asia series. Now, Toyota and Hyundai drivers will get a chance to pilot their cars on the same course.

The event will be held in Korea, including a demo drive with professional drivers, and test rides with Toyota and Hyundai WRC rally cars

Hyundai Motor and Toyota Motor Corporation will jointly host this automotive event later this month, coinciding with Chairman Akio Toyoda's visit to the country

The event will take place in South Korea on 27 October 2024 and will feature future-oriented cars from both companies in homage to motorsport's prospects.

Hyundai Motor and Toyota Motor will hold a joint racing festival in Korea, in their first joint effort to pomote motorsport culture, the two carmakers said Tuesday.

Hyundai Motor Co. said Tuesday it will host a unique motorsport event in partnership with Toyota Motor Co. later this month in South Korea featuring high-performance models and racing vehicles from both companies.
