The 33.5-km long rail line running along Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ is the first underground metro corridor of Mumbai. It will connect the Cuffe Parade business district in the extreme south of the city to SEEPZ in the north-central area with 26 underground and one at-grade station.

Mumbai’s first underground metro is here and will be open to the public on Monday (Oct 7), the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) said. The Aqua line will connect Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to Aarey Colony JVLR.

The 12.69km Aarey Colony JVLR-BKC stretch is part of the Aqua Line, which extends from Aarey to Colaba. In total, the Metro Line 3 is 33.5km-long

BKC, Bandra Colony, Santacruz, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) T1, Sahar Road, CSMIA T2, Marol Naka, Andheri, SEEPZ and Aarey Colony (JVLR), which is the only station at ground level.
